Tracey — common questions
Does the app need an internet connection?
Drawing, camera tracing, the lessons and your saved artwork all work with no connection at all. The only part that needs internet is browsing the online template library.
Where are my child's drawings stored?
On your device, in your own photo gallery. Nothing is uploaded anywhere — we could not see them if we wanted to.
Why does the app ask for the camera?
Only for tracing on real paper: the camera shows what is under the phone, and the chosen picture is laid over it so your child can follow the lines by hand. Nothing from the camera is recorded or stored.
Do we need to create an account?
No. The app works completely as a guest. An account is optional and only keeps your profile.
Are there advertisements?
None. Our children's apps never carry advertising of any kind.
Ideas and requests
If there is something you wish the app did — especially if you are a parent, or a young artist yourself — send it to the same address with “Idea” in the subject. A fair number of features exist because someone wrote in.
